At Travian Games, we love and breathe games. In Community Management and Customer Service, we engage with a lively community of gamers, attending to their ideas and issues, and creating a friendly environment for new and veteran players.

We are seeking a highly motivated Community Management Team Lead (f/m/d) to join our Travian: Legends team. You will be responsible for managing a team of remote Community Managers, ensuring the smooth operation of our online communities, and driving engagement across our Discord platforms. You will also be responsible for coordinating marketing campaigns, working closely with the marketing team to achieve our business objectives.
 

• You lead, manage and train a team of remote and part-time Community Managers, providing guidance, support and feedback to ensure the success of our community engagement efforts.
• You develop and implement strategies to drive engagement and grow our Discord communities, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all members.
• You monitor community activity, respond to inquiries, and address any issues or concerns raised by players and community managers in a timely and professional manner.
• You support the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns within our Discord community, ensuring alignment with our goals and objectives.
• You analyze community engagement metrics and provide regular reports to the management team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize performance.
• You stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in community management to innovate and improve our approach.

• You have proven experience in community management with a strong understanding of online community dynamics and best practices.
• You have previous experience managing remote teams with a demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop team members.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with community members from diverse backgrounds.
• You have strong organization and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize demands in a fast- paced environment.
• You are proficient in community management platforms like Discord.
• You are passionate about gaming, ideally experienced with online multiplayer strategy games (ideally from Travian Games).
