Senior 3D Artist (f/m/d)
As a Senior 3D Artist (f/m/d) specialized in shaders, you will improve the visual quality of our 3D games, with a focus on mobile platforms. You work very closely with other teams, such as art and engineering.
Your Quest
- You develop and optimize shaders, materials, and rendering techniques to achieve the best performance and visual fidelity in Unity.
- You utilize profiling techniques to meet the performance requirements of WebGL/WebGPU and mobile platforms.
- You are the bridge between the engineering and art teams; you ensure seamless communication and collaboration - remote and on-site at our Munich office twice a week.
- You optimize our asset pipeline, by developing tools for asset handling, validation and the editor.
- You review technology deficiencies for the art department.
- You keep up to date with industry standards and best practices.
Your Skills
- You have several years of experience in game art development, including mobile platforms.
- You have knowledge of real-time rendering techniques and digital content creation.
- You have strong expertise in Unity and C#.
- You have a deep understanding of shaders, HLSL and Shader Graph, especially in the context of Universal Render Pipeline.
- If you have experience with WebGL/WebGPU platforms and with the creation of Unity editor art tools, it is a plus.
- You are a team player with strong communication, high level of self-organization and great reliability.
- You are fluent in English, written and spoken. Very good German is highly desirable.
